Spokane, Wash. August. 20, 2021: Approximately 377 Avista electric customers in Ford will experience a planned power outage on Tuesday, August 24. The planned outage will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday and end at 12:00 p.m. No road closures are expected during this outage.

During this time, Avista contract crews will perform repairs to power poles damaged by a fire that went through the area. The work will increase reliability and reduce future outages in the area.

'We understand that being without power creates hardships and we appreciate our customers patience as we work to restore power as quickly and safely as possible,' said Jan Hoogstad, manager of electric operations in Davenport and the surrounding area.'
