Avolon (NYSE:AVOL), the international aircraft leasing company, announces the delivery of its first Airbus A320neo aircraft. The aircraft is the first of a number of A320neo sale and leasebacks contracted with IndiGo and brings the number of aircraft leased by Avolon to IndiGo to 21.

Avolon’s future commitment to new technology aircraft includes a further 99 Airbus A320neo family aircraft, 20 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, 12 Boeing 787-9 aircraft and 15 Airbus A330neo aircraft for which Avolon is a launch customer. At the end of March 2016, Avolon had a total fleet of 402 aircraft including 223 owned and managed aircraft; and 179 aircraft on order.
