AXA SA said Thursday that it has launched a partnership with Western Union Co. for the provision of inclusive insurance products.

The French insurance giant didn't disclose financial details, but said the partnership is aimed at customers using the westernunion.com service and to better cover migrant workers and their families at home by linking insurance to money-transfer services.

"This new partnership will provide a new way for us to facilitate value added products and services to the millions of immigrants and dual-belongers through westernunion.com," Western Union Chief Executive Hikmet Ersek said.
