After the grocery company Axfood acquired City Gross, a new CEO is now appointed for the unit.

The former marketing manager of Willys, Patrick Grabenbauer, will be the new CEO of City Gross. In addition to a new CEO, the business has also got a new board.

"With Axfood as the new owner, we will now invest in City Gross and strengthen the chain's position. Patrick Grabenbauer has been a key person behind Willys' success for a long time and has a solid experience of, among other things, brand and concept development, digitization and business development," says Nicholas Pettersson, CEO of Willys and newly appointed chairman of City Gross.

The acquisition of City Gross was completed on November 1.
