Axis Co.,Ltd. (TSE:4012) entered into an agreement to acquire Humansoft Inc. from a group of sellers for approximately ¥420 million. Under the terms, 860 shares were acquired as a part of the transaction. Humansoft reported net assets of ¥96 million, total assets of ¥413 million, sales of ¥916 million, operating income of ¥10 million and net income of ¥6 million for the fiscal year ended June 2020. Post the completion of the transaction, Humansoft will operate as a subsidiary of Axis. The transaction is expected to be completed on April 1, 2021.
Axis Co Ltd is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in system integration business and cloud service business. The system integration business provides application and infrastructure system design and development work and operation and maintenance work for financial institutions, public institutions such as government offices, general business companies and their group companies. Business application development services is involved in the development and construction of financial institutions' derivative transactions, foreign currency fund transactions, bond management, risk management, account data migration and pension systems. In the infrastructure system construction service, it designs and builds various servers, networks, storage that make up the infrastructure system. The cloud service business provides KITARO, a fleet management service that enables real-time grasp of location information and mileage of working vehicles.
