Axis Real Estate Investment Trust (KLSE:AXREIT) accepted a letter of offer to acquire Axis Industrial Facility at Shah Alam, Selangor for MYR 11.9 million during the period ended June 30, 2020. The deal is expected to close during the second half of 2020. Axis Real Estate Investment Trust (KLSE:AXREIT) completed the acquisition of Axis Industrial Facility at Shah Alam, Selangor on December 3, 2020.

Company Profile

Axis Real Estate Investment Trust (the Trust) is a Malaysia-based industrial real estate investment trust. The Trust owns and invests primarily in industrial and office real estate. The primary investment objectives of the Trust are to provide unitholders of the Trust with a stable and growing distribution of income, and to achieve long-term growth in the net asset value (NAV) per unit of the Fund. The Trust owns a portfolio of approximately 62 investment properties, comprising office and industrial buildings, logistics warehouses, hypermarkets, and manufacturing facilities located in Malaysia. The Trust's property portfolio includes Menara Axis, Axis Business Campus, Axis Business Park, Axis Vista, Quattro West, Wisma Kemajuan and Axis Industrial Facility 1 @ Shah Alam. Axis REIT Managers Berhad is the manager of the Trust.
