AYM Syntex Limited reported earnings results for the fourth quarter and full year ended March 31, 2022. For the fourth quarter, the company reported sales was INR 4,053.1 million compared to INR 3,497.2 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 4,074.2 million compared to INR 3,512.6 million a year ago. Net income was INR 139.7 million compared to INR 187.8 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 2.79 compared to INR 3.66 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 2.75 compared to INR 3.65 a year ago.
For the full year, sales was INR 14,914.6 million compared to INR 9,474.1 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 14,958.2 million compared to INR 9,502.2 million a year ago. Net income was INR 508.1 million compared to INR 140.9 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 10.14 compared to INR 2.82 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 10.01 compared to INR 2.81 a year ago.
AYM Syntex Limited is an India-based company that is engaged in manufacturing of multi-polymer and specialty synthetic yarns. The Company manufactures and exports polyester filament yarn, nylon filament yarn and bulk continuous filament yarns (BCF) from India. The Company produces polyester, nylon six, polypropylene and polyester microfiber yarns, which are used for carpets, rugs and mats. Its BCF yarns include Rezilia, Sorenyl, Ecose, Comfeel, Sparkle, Polycycle, Polymagic, Wonderfeel, Polywonder, Greenova, Silkenza, Synergy and Opulenz. Its textile yarns include synthetic solution dyed yarn, synthetic package dyed yarn, mother fully drawn yarn (FDY), mono yarn, highly oriented yarn (HOY), partially oriented yarn (POY), draw texturized yarn (DTY), air textured yarn (ATY), air covered yarn (ACY), recycled yarn, high tenacity yarn and raw white. The Companyâs multipolymer textile and BCF yarn manufacturing facility is located in Silvassa.
