Azelio's energy storage system TES.POD has the assembly of its Stirling engine in Uddevalla, Sweden, and collaboration with AQ Enclosure Systems for assembly of the system's storage unit in Vaggeryd, Sweden. In a step to streamline its supply chain, Azelio is starting a manufacturing unit in Vaggeryd with the aim of consolidating pre- and post-production processes of the storage unit together with suppliers. Azelio plans to start operations in Vaggeryd in the autumn of 2022 with around 30 employees, consisting of consultants and employees. Azelio has recently started production in volume design of its energy storage system, TES.POD. AQ Enclosure Systems, based in Vaggeryd, Sweden, is contracted for final assembly of the system's storage unit. Several other suppliers are also established in the same region. The purpose of Azelio's manufacturing unit in Vaggeryd is to consolidate a number of pre- and post-production processes together with suppliers, in order to reduce the complexity of the supply chain and shorten the lead times for high-volume production. Azelio's manufacturing unit will be located in Vaggeryd Logistikpark in collaboration with Logistea. Planned to start in the autumn of 2022, Azelio's operations in Vaggeryd will employ around 30 consultants and employees in production and quality as well as technicians.
