BAE Systems Chair Hogg to be UK Takeover Panel deputy chair

BAE Systems PLC - London-based defence, aerospace and security company - Chair Cressida Hogg is appointed as deputy chair of the UK Takeover Panel from May 1, the panel says. Further, she will be designated to sit on the hearings committee of the panel.

Current stock price: 1,298.00 pence each, 1.7% lower on Thursday morning in London

BAE Systems plc is one of the world's leaders in designing, producing and marketing defense and aerospace systems and equipment. The activity is organized mainly around three families of products and services: - land-based equipment: combat vehicles, tanks, missile launchers, artillery systems, munitions, etc.; - electronic communication, navigation, and simulation systems. The group also offers ship and boat repair services; - aeronautical and marine equipment: aircraft, watercraft, submarines, etc. Net sales are distributed geographically as follows: the United Kingdom (26.2%), Europe (10.7%), the United States (42.2%), Saudi Arabia (10.6%), Qatar (2.8%), Middle East (0.9 %), Australia (3.7%), Asia-Pacific (1.7%), Canada (0.7%) and others (0.5%).
