Chinese tech giant Baidu is set to unveil smart glasses with an integrated AI assistant at its Baidu World event in Shanghai. The glasses aim to compete with Meta' s Ray-Ban (EssilorLuxottica) connected glasses and will offer features such as photo-taking and integration with Baidu's search assistant, Ernie.

Scheduled for early 2025 at a price potentially lower than Meta's $299, they could strengthen Baidu's position in the AI device market, where the company already has experience with voice speakers and wireless headphones.
