Balkrishna Industries Limited announced unaudited standalone earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2018. For the quarter, the company’s revenue from operations was INR 12,055.9 million against INR 11,063.1 million a year ago. Profit for the period was INR 1,447.0 million against INR 1,895.0 million a year ago. Basic and diluted earnings per share were INR 7.48 against INR 9.80 a year ago. Total income was INR 12,065.6 million against INR 11,840.5 million a year ago.
For the nine months, the company’s revenue from operations was INR 38,934.6 million against INR 32,327.0 million a year ago. Profit for the period was INR 5,972.6 million against INR 5,456.3 million a year ago. Basic and diluted earnings per share were INR 30.89 against INR 28.22 a year ago. Total income was INR 40,675.2 million against INR 34,852.1 million a year ago.
Balkrishna Industries Limited is an India-based company that is engaged in the business of manufacturing and selling of off-highway tires (OHT) in the specialist segments, such as agricultural, industrial and construction, earthmovers and port, mining, forestry, lawn and garden and all-terrain vehicles (ATV).
