It can happen in the blink of an eye. A brief moment of inattention and, before you know it, an accident has occurred. Various questions spring to mind. What do I need to do? What formalities do I need to complete? How do I report the claim? Baloise employees have drawn up a checklist of what to do in such situations.
"While talking to our customers, we found that many do not know exactly what to do in the event of an accident and are not aware of the order in which the different steps should be carried out," explains Florence Defours, team leader in the customer services department for claims. "We wanted to produce a simple and practical checklist - not just for our customers but for all car drivers - that they can consult in an accident. The Baloise accident checklist was drawn up with input from various departments," says Kevin Häner, project manager in the customer services department for claims.
Print out the Baloise accident checklist from the downloads section and put it in your car's glove compartment. Then you will have it to hand should you ever need it. The checklist can also be found at baloise.ch/car-accident. We wish you a good and, above all, safe and accident-free journey.
