BANCA CARIGE: FITD AND VIS SIGN WITH BPER BANCA THE AGREEMENT FOR

THE DISPOSAL OF THE CONTROLLING INTEREST

Genoa, 14 February 2022 - Following up on the press releases issued today, the Bank informs that the Interbank Deposit Protection Fund ('FITD') has signed the disposal agreement of the controlling interest (of approximately 80%) of the Bank's share capital held by FITD and by the Voluntary Intervention Scheme ('VIS'), with the closing expected to take place by 30 June 2022, subject to obtaining the necessary regulatory and statutory authorisations.
