Siena, 2 April 2020 - Banca Monte Paschi di Siena ('BMPS') announces that DBRS Ratings GmbH has confirmed all ratings assigned to BMPS (Long-Term Issuer Rating 'B (high)', Long-Term Senior Debt 'B (high)', Long-Term Deposits 'BB (low)'), changing the long-term outlook to 'negative' (from 'stable') due to the deterioration of the global
economic and market environment caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
