OSASCO, Brazil (AP) _ Banco Bradesco SA (BBD) on Tuesday reported second-quarter earnings of $1.13 billion.

The bank, based in Osasco, Brazil, said it had earnings of 12 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs and amortization costs, were 13 cents per share.

The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 12 cents per share.

The financial holding company posted revenue of $4.1 billion in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $4.1 billion, falling short of Street forecasts.
