Banco Santander (Brasil) S.A. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2024. For the third quarter, the company reported net interest income was BRL 13,994.63 million compared to BRL 12,203.58 million a year ago. Net income was BRL 3,637.2 million compared to BRL 2,770.95 million a year ago.
For the nine months, net interest income was BRL 41,249.25 million compared to BRL 34,599.79 million a year ago. Net income was BRL 10,306.73 million compared to BRL 7,403.57 million a year ago.
Banco Santander Brasil SA is a Brazil-based bank. The Bank operates through two segments: Retail and Wholesale. The Retail segment provides financial services to individuals, as well as to small and medium-sized enterprises. The Wholesale segment focuses on large corporations and capital markets. Together with its subsidiaries, the Bank offers a range of financial services, including consumer, commercial and investment banking services, lending and financing, mortgage lending, leasing, credit card operations and foreign exchange. The Bank is also engaged in the asset management, capitalization, securities brokerage, insurance brokerage and pension plans operations.
