Bango announced that Carolyn Rand has stepped down from the Board and Chief Financial Officer role. The company announced the appointment of Matthew ("Matt") Jonathan Garner as Chief Financial Officer, who joins the Board of Directors with immediate effect. Carolyn joined Bango as interim CFO in October 2018 and joined the Board as full-time CFO in January 2019. Carolyn will remain with Bango over the coming year as a consultant, ensuring a smooth and orderly transition to Matt Garner. Matt Garner, who is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, joins Bango from Global Invacom, a global leader in satellite communications technology, where he held the role of Chief Financial Officer for seven years. During his time at Global Invacom, Matt oversaw the successful IPO of the business on AIM and the continuing listing on the mainboard in Singapore. He also drove the acquisition and integration of five companies during his time at Global Invacom. Matthew Jonathan Garner (aged 56) has held the following directorships or partnerships in the past five years.
