Bank Asia : manager held for 'raping' field officer in Jashore

The manager of Bank Asia Limited's Keshabpur branch in Jashore was arrested for allegedly raping a field worker of the bank on Monday, police said.

The arrestee was identified as Abdus Samad, 36, son of Badal Uddin of Singra village in Durgapur upazila in Rajshahi.

Jashim Uddin, officer-in-charge of Keshabpur Police Station, said they arrested the accused in the morning after a case was filed against him.

The victim was sent to Jashore General Hospital for medical test, he added.

Police said the 26-year-old victim has filed a case against her boss.
