Dennis Hussey to retire from Citi Handlowy Management Board

Dennis Hussey, the Vice-President of Citi Handlowy Management Board, decided to retire from Citi for personal reasons at the end of June.

Pursuant to the succession plan adopted at the bank, in May Elżbieta Czetwertyńska, President of the Management Board of Citi Handlowy, will recommend that the Supervisory Board appoint Mr. Andrzej Wilk, present head of the Retail Product, Segment and Branch Network Management Division of Citi Handlowy, as Vice President of the Management Board responsible for consumer banking. The next few months will ensure a smooth transfer and takeover of duties.

"The two-year term of Dennis was characterized by professionalism, support for employees and care about high quality of services provided to our clients in the times of numerous challenges. I am certain that Andrzej Wilk is a perfect candidate to replace him. He is an excellent leader with 28 years of experience in retail banking gained on many European markets, including Poland," said Elżbieta Czetwertyńska.

In May, President of Bank Handlowy Elżbieta Czetwertyńska will recommend Andrzej Wilk as Vice President of the Management Board in charge of consumer banking to replace Dennis Hussey, who is going to leave office as at the end of June 2022, reported the bank.

Andrzej Wilk has worked at Citi for 20 years, including 12 years at Citi Handlowy, as, among others, CFO of Citifinancial Central Europe, where he supervised the development of over 200 branches and points of sale. He also headed Retail Bank in Hungary, the Czech Republic and Romania, and since returning to Citi Handlowy three years ago, he has been implementing the strategy of restoring profitability of the retail business. Mr. Wilk was one of the first twenty employees of retail banking of Citi in Poland in 1997.
