From today companies, which are in a difficult situation in relation to the coronavirus pandemic, will be able to apply for support under the Financial Shield 2.0 in Bank Millennium's e-banking. Application is an extremely simple and intuitive process. The PFR decision on granting support will also be provided in the Bank's internet system.

The process is fully online. In order for every eligible entrepreneur to be able to conveniently apply for subsidy, Bank Millennium made the application available both in Millenet for Entrepreneurs and in internet banking for individuals the latter used by sole traders. Application for subsidy is based upon statements made by entrepreneur and submitted by person authorised to represent the company or a person holding duly authorised to submit application. When submitting application it is necessary to attach a document confirming authorisation of a person submitting the application (extract from KRS or CEIDG) in the pdf format or power of attorney signed in accordance with company representation by electronic qualified signature. The application status and confirmation of granting or refusing of the subsidy, prepared on the basis of the decision received from PFR, will also be available online.

Financial subsidies offered by Polish Development Fund in Shield 2.0 are provided to micro, small and medium companies from 45 sectors identified on the basis of Polish Industrial Classification, which had to limit or suspend their operation in relation to coronavirus pandemic. The said companies may take advantage of the Shield 2.0 also in situations when they had already received subsidies under the first shield and may also take advantage of full forgiveness opportunity.

Microbusinesses employing from 1 to 9 persons, which had sales or total assets in 2019 up to 2 million euro, and which recorded turnover drop at min. 30% within the period April - December 2020 or in Q4 2020 relative to similar period of 2019, subsidy will amount to 18 thous PLN per employee (in case of revenue drop by 30-60%) or 36 thous. PLN per employee (in case of revenue drop by more than 60%). Maximum amount of subsidy for a microbusiness is 324 thous. PLN.

With respect to small and medium size companies employing from 10 to 249 persons and generating revenues at the level below 50 mln EUR or having total assets below 43 mln EUR, and which recorded revenue drop by, at least, 30% during the period April - December 2020 or in Q4 2020, relative to similar period of 2019, subsidy will be provided up to 70% of gross loss for months November 2020 - March 2021 (for the period January - March 2021 projected drop). Maximum level of subsidy is 3,5 mln PLN but not more than 72 thous. PLN per employee.

The basis for verification of applications and declarations, which affect the granting of subsidies (and their amounts) under the PFR Financial Shield are public records. Applicants will be required to submit files JPK_V7M or JPK_V7K to tax administration body, in sufficient advance for tax administration body to process data and transfer thereof to PFR (up to 7 days).
