Developers associated in the Polish Union of Development Companies evaluated banks for the fifteenth time already from the point of view of cooperation in financing and servicing housing development projects - Bank Millennium made it to the podium, coming third (second in the previous edition).
Bank evaluation questionnaires were filled-out more than 100 times. Each company taking part in the Ranking could submit one questionnaire about each bank, which is lending to it and in which it has a housing escrow account.
- The Banks' Ranking is a useful tool for banks, which want to effectively cooperate with developers and improve their offering, becoming more competitive at the same time. It is also an excellent source of information about banks for property development companies - Mateusz Stachewicz, in charge of the 15th edition of the Banks' Ranking, explained.
The ranking focused on banks, which were evaluated in at least 3 questionnaires. The maximum total score was 120 points. Also negative points were given i.a. for lack of possibility to keep a housing escrow account with a bank other than the lending bank (-6 points), refusal to finance before processing the application and for carrying out the inspection of completing a stage of the development project within the framework of the housing escrow account in an onerous and costly manner (- 12 points).
