Bank Millennium has become one of the winners of "Wrocław without barriers", the Bartłomiej Skrzyński memorial plebiscite in the Corporate Social Responsibility category.

The "Wrocław without barriers" certificate was awarded to Bank Millennium for the solutions that make it easier to use digital banking, for the implementation of architectural adjustments addressed to people with disabilities and for conducting personnel training on how to service people with special needs. The organizers also appreciated Bank Millennium's efforts to build a socially responsible brand, which, as we read in the certificate, "sets an example for the banking sector and deserves the name of a Bank without barriers". The prestigious document was signed by Jacek Sutryk, the President of Wrocław, and Dominik Golema, Director of the Wrocław Without Barriers Office at the Wrocław City Hall.

- We were delighted with the information that Bank Millennium had been awarded the "Wrocław without barriers" certificate and we would like to express our gratitude for this important distinction. It is our priority to ensure full accessibility of Bank Millennium's services for all customers. We want to support the customers in the fulfillment of their goals and truly make their day to day life easier. The fact that the award was granted in Wrocław has an additional, very important dimension for us, because ever since the merger with Euro Bank in 2019, this wonderful city has become home to one of Bank Millennium's three headquarters, next to Warsaw and Gdańsk - Joao Bras Jorge, Chairman of the Management Board of Bank Millennium, said.

The "Wrocław without barriers" plebiscite was launched in 2010 at the initiative of Bartłomiej Skrzyński, the Wrocław President's Ombudsman for People with Disabilities at the time. The role of the awards committee is to reward the initiatives, activism and projects that support people with disabilities in Wrocław. The plebiscite is organized by the Potrafię Pomóc Foundation in cooperation with the Wrocław Without Barriers Office at the Wrocław City Hall.

The certificates were presented to the "Wrocław without barriers" winners on December 4th by Michał Piechel, Social Advisor to the President of Wrocław for People with Disabilities. The certificate was collected on behalf of Bank Millennium by Mariusz Jacek Turzański from the Private Banking Department, a resident of Wrocław, who actively and socially works for the benefit of the city. According to the rules of the plebiscite, the awards committee for the next edition will be composed of the representatives of the recent winners, including Bank Millennium.
