AT&T has seen a seasonal uptick in its fiber business despite weaker industry-wide trends.

Chief Financial Officer Pascal Desroches said at the Bank of America Media, Communications and Entertainment Conference that the company was confident in its full-year free cash flow guidance of more than $16 billion and its adjusted Ebitda growth guidance over 3%.

Desroches said that historically low move activity has dampened demand for fiber, but that AT&T is still seeing a seasonal uptick. He also noted that the company's postpaid phone adds are in line with the previous quarter.

The company expects free cash flow of $4.5 billion to $5 billion in the third quarter. Analysts polled by FactSet forecast $4.95 billion.
