Bank of America has named Lucas Giambelluca as president of its Twin Cities operations. Giambelluca took over for Catherine Simpson, who served as the market president for over five years. Simpson has left the bank, according to Britney Sheehan, a spokesperson for the company.

As president, Giambelluca will focus on connecting the Bank of America's resources to clients across the Twin Cities, where the bank has grown quickly during the pandemic years. In addition to his responsibilities as president, Giambelluca is still serving as business banking market executive for Minnesota, where he leads a team of bankers. He first joined the company in 2016 as a vice president and senior relationship manager, according to his LinkedIn page.

Prior to joining Bank of America, Giambelluca worked locally for more than a decade at San Francisco-based Wells Fargo & Co., leaving in 2016. He holds an undergraduate degree from Luther College.
