BBK, Bahrain's pioneer in retail and commercial banking, provided more than 200 free 1-year Udemy memberships for high school graduates from public and private schools, where they spent a year in training and development, gaining a lot of theoretical information and mastering sophisticated practical skills that would help them create their professional future. Udemy is an online professional educational platform that is rich in many educational, creative, and training content.

This initiative is part of BKK's social responsibility strategy for 2020, which focuses on education and training as to support Bahrain's youth progress and development through a variety of initiatives, including sponsoring and supporting the education and training, in collaboration with international and prestigious academies.

As part of this initiative, the bank awarded cash prizes to the first six students who showed highly commitment of attendance, active participation, and reached the best performance level, and demonstrated their ability to benefit from the courses.

BBK Assistant General Manager of Human Resources and Administration, Mrs. Najwa Al-Ahmed, expressed her happiness of this achievement, was achieved by the bank in cooperate with Udemy. She noted that "this initiative allowed many Bahraini youths to have a study experience that met high international standards, both in terms of theoretical knowledge and practical practice that prepared them for the market and helped them to make the best decision about their professional future, which will undoubtedly benefit them, their society, and their country.

"We would like to congratulate all of the participants and outstanding students, and reaffirm that BBK will continue to improve its strategy in order to have a positive impact on society, its consumers, and the Kingdom of Bahrain in general." Mrs. Al-Ahmed commented.

BBK's support for this course is an extension of the many initiatives that the Bank presented and provides in the field of education and training. These initiatives include: the Crown Prince International Scholarship Program, the Isa bin Salman Educational Charitable Endowment, the Computer Lab at the University of Bahrain, the training program TJ Walker, and a specialized program for training housewives on how to use modern technology, among many other.
