The head of the Centro de Conocimiento e Innovación de Fundación Bankia por la Formación Dual, Mónica Moso, will participate on Thursday, 18 February, in the first of nine seminars organised by the Ministerio de Educación y Formación Profesional with which to address the transformation and modernisation of Vocational Training in our country.

During the nine sessions, the MEFP will invite experts and representatives from the different sectors involved in the transformation of vocational training in our country (teachers, trainers, directors of vocational and labour training centres, educational and employment administrations of the Autonomous Regions, companies and social partners and various national and international entities) to enrich the open debate around the new Law on Vocational Training that aims to consolidate an integrated vocational training system.

The first session will be namedMás FP, Más Futuro andwill focus on preparing a radiography of the Vocational Training system, aiming at the changes and urgent needs that are being seen in the current context. It will broadcast on Thursday, 18 February at 11 am through the Youtube channel of Ministerio de Educación y Formación Profesional.

This first session will be attended by Antón Costas, professor of Economic Policies at the Universidad de Barcelona; Mónica Moso, head of Centro de Conocimiento e Innovación de Fundación Bankia por la Formación Dual; and Fernando Marhuenda, professor of Didactics and School Organisation at the Universidad de Valencia.

Subsequently, eight other sessions will be broadcast on more specific subjects such as Dual Vocational Training, Vocational Training centres and networks of National Reference and Innovation centres, teachers of these subjects, the relationship between training centres and businesses, innovation and entrepreneurship, vocational guidance and internationalisation of vocational training.
