• A total of 50 teachers and students will receive basic training in the tools used by Bankia for foreign trade
  • The students taking part in this Comex belong to the CIFP Carlos III, IES Los Albares, IES Poeta Julián Andúgar; and the IES Príncipe de Asturias schools

This week, Fundación Bankia started its COMEX foreign trade training for teachers and vocational training students in four schools in Murcia.

These are the CIFP Carlos III, IES Los Albares, IES Poeta Julián Andúgar; and the IES Príncipe de Asturias. This COMEX will be taught entirely online to ensure access to the largest possible number of schools. During the course, they will learn about exports, cheque collection, transfers, documentary credits, exchange risk, export coverage, export financing and remittances through COMEX training offered free of charge by the Bankia Foundation for Dual Training, sharing Bankia's know-how and its knowledge of foreign trade.

A total of 15 teachers and 35 students studying Foreign Trade, Transport and Logistics will take part in this initiative to introduce students to the world of economic and financial management of international trade, the risks of foreign trade operations and the hedging alternatives available within the market, improving their chances of employability in a sector that has experienced significant growth in recent years.

The current COVID-19 pandemic encouraged the Bankia Foundation to offer this training exclusively online for the first time, in contrast to the previous blended format used in the past. To guarantee effective learning, work groups are small, certain activities are tutored and more emphasis has been placed on case studies that reflect real situations.
