An economist and a Chartered Financial Analyst, Bernhard Urech joined Loyal Finance in 2019 as a senior portfolio manager. He is an expert in asset management and specialises in the management of interest rate instruments. He has more than 25 years of experience with various firms: Julius Baer, Clariden Bank, GAM and Julius Baer Asset Management. He will take up the position of CEO of Loyal Finance AG as of 1 November 2021, replacing Mr Hans Tarnutzer, who will assume other strategic functions within the company.

Loyal Finance AG is an independent asset management company, founded in Zurich in 1991, with the status of a collective investment manager, specialising in bond management. It manages institutional mandates as well as a large part of the bond sub-funds of the Synchrony range of Swiss and Luxembourg funds. Loyal Finance AG offers professional and institutional clients an active management approach that has proven its worth and achieved excellent results for over 25 years. It is the bond management unit of the BCGE Group. BCGE has been a majority shareholder of Loyal Finance since 2019.
