Banque Centrale Populaire is a credit establishment organized around 3 areas of activity:

- banking activities;

- centralization of Banques Populaires Régionales (BPR) operations. The group acts primarily as the central compensator of the Banques Populaires group, coordinates the BPR financial policy, manages their liquid assets, ensures their refinancing, and manages the common interest services for the entities in the group;

- activities on behalf of the Crédit Populaire du Maroc Board of Directors.

At the end of 2021, Banque Centrale Populaire had MAD 67 billion in current deposits and MAD 94.3 billion in current loans.
