Bapcor Limited reported audited consolidated earnings results for the year ended June 30, 2017. For the period, the company has posted revenue from continuing operations of AUD 1,013,553,000 against AUD 685,629,000 a year ago. Profit before income tax expense from continuing operations was AUD 79,720,000 against AUD 62,116,000 a year ago. Profit after income tax expense from continuing operations was AUD 53,732,000 against AUD 43,582,000 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share were 19.83 cents against 17.82 cents a year ago. The Specialist Wholesale segment includes AAD, Bearing Wholesalers, Baxters/MTQ, Roadsafe, JAS Oceania, Premier Auto Trade, Federal Batteries, Diesel Distributors and AADi, as well as the commercial truck parts group comprising Truckline and WANO. The Retail segment includes the Autobarn, Autopro and Opposite Lock brands, as well as the Midas and ABS workshop service brands. The New Zealand segment consists of Trade and Specialist Wholesale businesses based in New Zealand.
