Bar Harbor Bankshares : Will Hatt Joins Bar Harbor Bank & Trust as SVP, Community Banking Relationship Manager

Ellsworth, Maine (June 29, 2022) - Will Hatt has joined Bar Harbor Bank & Trust as Senior Vice President, Community Banking Relationship Manager. In this role, he helps entrepreneurs from Ellsworth to Lubec find the right financing and deposit solutions for their small businesses.

Will has more than 25 years of experience in financial services. His career in banking began as a lender at Key Bank, where he focused on serving consumer accounts before transitioning to small business lending. For the last 20 years, Will has focused exclusively on commercial banking and small business lending. He served as Regional Vice President, Regional Banking Team Leader at Bar Harbor Bank & Trust for more than a decade before taking on senior vice president roles at CUSO Mortgage/Business Lending Solutions, LLC; Skowhegan Savings Bank; and Camden National Bank.

Will has completed coursework focused on business management from the University of Maine and attended the American Bankers Association's Stonier Graduate School of Banking for two years. He also earned several professional certifications from the Pinnacle Bank Training Corporation.

Will has been an active volunteer in the community and previously served in leadership roles for Machias Bay Area Chamber of Commerce and Downeast Health Services. He also served as a corporator for Downeast Community Hospital and a member of the loan committee for the Washington Hancock Community Agency, which is now Downeast Community Partners. Will is a former member of Rotary International.

Will and his wife, Rebecca, live in Dedham, Maine. They have two daughters.
