Frank Naber took over the position as head of the Automotive OEM Coatings Solutions EMEA business unit at BASF's Coatings division effective May 1, 2021. In this position, he succeeds Thomas Kloster who has a new function in the BASF group since February 1, 2021 and is President of the Performance Chemicals division in Ludwigshafen, Germany.

Naber studied business administration at the University of Münster and began his career at BASF in 2004. He started out in regional marketing and later took on tasks in global strategic marketing for the Polyurethanes division. In 2012, he moved to the Coatings division, where he took on various functions in the Automotive OEM Coatings business unit. Most recently, he was Vice President Automotive OEM Coatings Asia Pacific in Hong Kong.
