REVENUE DEVELOPMENT

Basic-Fit reported revenue of €238 million over the first nine months of 2017. This is an increase of 26% compared to the €189 million in the same period in 2016. The increase is explained by the increase in memberships (up 25% to 1.47 million), a stable average revenue per member per month and higher other revenue (up 35% to €5.1 million).

Rene Moos, CEO Basic-Fit:

"We had again a very strong quarter in which the number of club openings and the pipeline developed in line with the club roll-out plan. Also, the increase in memberships was robust and increased by 108 thousand in the quarter to nearly 1.5 million. We remain confident to grow our network by around 100 clubs in 2017."

CLUB DEVELOPMENT

In the first nine months, we opened 78 clubs and closed 4 clubs, resulting in an increase of our network by 74 clubs to 493 clubs. The majority of the net new club openings were in France (62), six in Belgium, three in the Netherlands, two in Spain and one in Luxembourg.
