Bata India Limited has announced changes in its senior management personnel. Mr. Uttam Kumar has been appointed as Senior Vice President ? Head of Merchandising & Replenishment.
Date of appointment: On or before July 31, 2025 (subject to completion of joining formalities). He has over 20 years of experience in retail and footwear and is currently the Regional Director, Product & Merchandising ? APAC at Bata Group.
He has held key roles including Country Manager, Bata Thailand, and VP ? Merchandising, Bata India, driving growth, innovation, and team excellence. He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Business from Emeritus (in collaboration with MIT Sloan) and a Diploma in Footwear Technology from FDDI.
Mr. Satyam Sharma has resigned from his position as Head ? Merchandising due to personal commitments, effective May 5, 2025.
