Spain issued 15 billion euros ($15.64 billion) in a new 10-year benchmark government bond via a bank syndicate on Wednesday, one of the joint lead manager banks said.
The new bond has a 3.150% coupon and it was priced at 99.750, at a yield of 3.180%, the same bank said. The spread on the bond was set 5 basis points above the mid-yield of the 3.45% October 2034 domestic peer.
Bookrunners of the transaction were BBVA, Deutsche Bank, HSBC, J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley and Santander.
