Beazley appoints new Group Head of StrategyRachel Turk assumes newly created role of Group Head of Strategy and joins Beazley's executive committee
London, September 22, 2021
Beazley has announced that Rachel Turk has been appointed Group Head of Strategy. She will also join the executive committee with immediate effect. Previously, Rachel held the role of Head of Corporate Development.
Adrian Cox, Beazley CEO said: "This is a very well deserved promotion. Since 2019, Rachel has been working with the executive helping us to develop and refine our corporate strategy, as well as developing plans to ensure that we deliver on our corporate objectives.
"Over the past couple of years Rachel has driven a number of key development activities, including identifying growth opportunities in existing markets via mergers and acquisitions. She has also been instrumental in the creation and success of our incubation underwriting team, which is at the forefront of exploring new products and services."

Rachel Turk, new Group Head of Strategy, Beazley said: "Core to our strategy is to do the right thing for our clients, the markets we serve and the business as a whole. Which is why harnessing our depth of experience, knowledge and insight to create risk services and solutions that make a real difference to our clients is key to our future success.

Rachel joined Beazley in 2009 as a D&O underwriter in Specialty Lines, becoming Focus Group Leader in 2015, and was appointed Head of Corporate Development in 2019. Prior to joining Beazley, Rachel held Equity and Finance Analyst roles and she is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
In addition to her role at Beazley, Rachel also sits on the Board of the Lloyd's Market Association (LMA).
