It's no coincidence that both Jan Jambon and Benjamin Dalle came to visit. As of 2023, the Flemish Government is moving into this unique, fully accessible and sustainable building. The Flemish Government will bring together various departments in the 70,000 m2 of offices of the ZIN project. To meet the needs of both today and tomorrow, the Flemish Government set high standards with regard to circularity and sustainability for the design of ZIN, something that both ministers wanted to come discover with their own eyes.

With the completion of the demolition phase in April, the (re)building phase is currently starting. Both towers are being rebuilt and connected with a new central volume. ZIN is committed to using materials from the old buildings for this by, on the one hand, keeping the cores and underground floors, but also by putting the circular philosophy into practice on a large scale. Thus, among other things, the rubble from the old building is being processed and reused as high-grade concrete for the new building.
