Beijer Alma AB (publ) reported group and parent earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2019. For the quarter, on group basis, the company reported net revenues of SEK 1,248.1 million against SEK 1,216.0 million a year ago. Operating profit was SEK 162.7 million against SEK 186.7 million a year ago. Profit after net financial items was SEK 159.8 million against SEK 182.9 million a year ago. Net profit attributable to Parent Company shareholders was SEK 122.7 million against SEK 137.2 million a year ago. Net earnings per share before and after dilution was SEK 2.04 against SEK 2.28 a year ago.
For the six months, on group basis, the company reported net revenues of SEK 2,413.7 million against SEK 2,350.0 million a year ago. Operating profit was SEK 323.9 million against SEK 345.8 million a year ago. Profit after net financial items was SEK 315.3 million against SEK 338.0 million a year ago. Net profit attributable to Parent Company shareholders was SEK 242.8 million against SEK 253.5 million a year ago. Net earnings per share before and after dilution was SEK 4.03 against SEK 4.21 a year ago.
For the quarter, on parent basis, the company reported operating loss of SEK 9.4 million against SEK 10.9 million a year ago. Loss after net financial items was SEK 9.7 million against SEK 11.1 million a year ago. Net loss was SEK 7.9 million against SEK 8.7 million a year ago.
For the six months, on parent basis, the company reported operating loss of SEK 13.4 million against SEK 18.9 million a year ago. Loss after net financial items was SEK 13.7 million against SEK 19.1 million a year ago. Net loss was SEK 11.2 million against SEK 15.2 million a year ago.
