Beijer Alma's subsidiary Beijer Tech acquired the shares in PA Ventiler AB, based in Lindome outside Gothenburg, via Lundgrens Sverige AB today.
PA Ventiler conducts sales of valves, primarily to the pulp & paper industry as well as the chemical and petrochemical industry. The company generates revenues of approximately MSEK 27 with favorable profitability.
Beijer Tech's President, Staffan Johansson, commented on the transaction: 'The acquisition of PA Ventiler represents an important milestone for the Fluid Technology business area and for Lundgrens. PA Ventiler is a well-managed niche company with a very strong market position. I'm pleased that we were able to complete the acquisition, which is an excellent match for our Fluid Technology business area, which includes Lundgrens Sverige, Svebab, Packningar & Plast and Lundgrens Norge).'
In connection with change of ownership of their family business, Fredrik Karlsson will assume the role of Managing Director of the company and Ulf Karlsson will concentrate on his role as Sales Director Lena Karlsson will continue in her role as Finance manager.
Fredrik Karlsson commented on the transaction: 'For PA Ventiler, this feels like a natural step in our ongoing journey of growth. We are confident that we will strengthen our market position as a supplier to Swedish industry together with Beijer Tech.'
Beijer Alma's CEO, Henrik Perbeck, commented on the transaction: 'Beijer Tech is continuing to pursue its strategy of acquiring companies in attractive niches and, through this acquisition, has further strengthened its operations within fluid technology.'
