Beijing Capital Eco-environment Protection Group Co.,ltd. (SHSE:600008) intends to acquire 81.16% stake in Beijing Capital Air Environmental Science & Technology Co.,Ltd from Beijing Capital Venture Group Co., Ltd., Beijing Capital Venture Capital Co., Ltd., Beijing Yaomu Investment Consulting Co., Ltd. and other investors for approximately CNY 860 million on November 25, 2021. The consideration will be paid in cash. In the first step, Beijing Capital Eco-environment Protection Group Co.,ltd. will acquire 81.16%% in Beijing Capital Atmospheric Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. held by 33 shareholders for CNY 862 million and the remaining 18.84% equity will be acquired for CNY 241 million after counter parties performing state-owned assets evaluation and filing procedures, etc., and the relevant transfer conditions will be met/purchase after the parties have reached consensus. On November 25, 2021, the board of Beijing Capital Eco-environment Protection Group Co.,ltd. approved the transaction.
BEIJING CAPITAL CO.,LTD mainly operates through four segments: Traditional Water Business segment, Water Industry Chain Expanded Business segment, Regional Environment Harnessing segment and Solid Waste and Other segment. Traditional Water Business segment mainly involves in water supply, wastewater treatment and waterworks construction. Water Industry Chain Expanded Business segment includes reclaimed water reusing projects and desalination programs, among others. Solid Waste and Other segment is engaged in the recycle and disassembly of life waste (including kitchen waste), general industrial waste and industrial hazardous waste, electronic waste and automobiles. The Company is also involved in the toll collection of Jingtong expressway, the operation of hotels, and the property development activities. The Company operates its businesses in domestic markets and to overseas market.
