Beijing GeoEnviron Engineering & Technology, Inc. (BGE, SHA: 603588) announced that the patent for "A Stabilizing Agent for the Treatment of Chromium-Contaminated Soil and Its Applications" has been approved by IP Australia, which signifies the global environmental market’s recognition of BGE’s technologies and commitment as well as BGE’s determination to expand its global footprint.

As BGE’s core patented technology, it previously won the first prize of the Science and Technology Progress Award of the Chinese Architectural Society and has been successfully applied to the restoration of chromium-contaminated soil in Yunxian County, Hubei Province, and the ecological restoration of chromium slag site in Luzhou City, Sichuan Province, winning praises from the local governments.

As a pioneer and leader in China's environmental sector, BGE is also recognized by international associations and has cooperated with many European and American partners. In 2006, the company joined the International Geosynthetics Society (IGS) and the International Association of Geosynthetics Installers (IAGI). In 2017, it became the first Platinum Member of the International Solid Waste Association (ISWA) in China. TRS of the United States chose to partner with BGE to establish a joint venture company to provide solutions for organic-contaminated sites in China; Stiefel Holding AG of Switzerland entrusted BGE to co-build a R&D center to develop the third-generation waste incineration technology; BGE also cooperated with i+M of Germany to develop domestic waste pretreatment technology, Thöni of Austria to develop solutions to organic waste treatment and resource utilization.
