Berger Paints India Limited reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2021. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was INR 25,507.7 million compared to INR 21,181.9 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 25,662.2 million compared to INR 21,337.9 million a year ago. Net income was INR 2,527.2 million compared to INR 2,748 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 2.6 compared to INR 2.83 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 2.6 compared to INR 2.83 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was INR 65,742.7 million compared to INR 47,915 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 66,197.4 million compared to INR 48,279.9 million a year ago. Net income was INR 6,121.6 million compared to INR 5,111.5 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 6.31 compared to INR 5.26 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 6.31 compared to INR 5.26 a year ago.

The Company offers products in categories, including interior wall coatings, exterior wall coatings, exterior textures, metal finishes, wood finishes, under coats, water proofing solutions. Its designer finishes include Silk GlamArt Metallica, Silk GlamArt Metallica for Designs, Silk GlamArt Non-Metallic, Silk GlamArt Stones and Tones, Silk GlamArt Stucco. Its interior emulsions include Silk Breathe Easy, Silk Glamor Matt, Silk Glow and Silk Glamor Soft Sheen. Its interior wall distempers include Bison Distemper. The Company's exterior emulsions include WeatherCoat Long Life 10, WeatherCoat Long Life 7, WeatherCoat Anti Dustt, WeatherCoat Long Life PU Tile Coat, and Never Miss Ceiling White. Its Sandila Plant is the manufacturing facility of the Company in India with capability to produce 33,000 MT per month, bulk of which is water-based paint.
