Beruwala Resorts PLC reported unaudited group and company earnings results for third quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2018. For the quarter, on group basis, the company’s revenue was LKR 141,929,000 against LKR 124,926,000 a year ago. Profit from operating activities was LKR 26,290,000 against LKR 19,509,000 a year ago. Net profit for the period was LKR 1,196,000 against LKR 8,085,000 a year ago.
For the nine months, the company’s revenue was LKR 334,257,000 against LKR 299,741,000 a year ago. Profit from operating activities was LKR 9,201,000 against LKR 13,061,000 a year ago. Net loss for the period was LKR 45,945,000 against LKR 22,095,000 a year ago. Loss per share was LKR 0.08 against LKR 0.04 a year ago.
For the quarter, the company’s revenue was LKR 118,124,000 against LKR 103,874,000 a year ago. Profit from operating activities was LKR 27,837,000 against LKR 23,102,000 a year ago.
