MIDVALE, Utah (AP) — MIDVALE, Utah (AP) — Beyond, Inc. (BYON) on Tuesday reported a loss of $161 million in its fourth quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Midvale, Utah-based company said it had a loss of $3.55.

The results fell short of Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 71 cents per share.

The online discount retailer posted revenue of $384.5 million in the period, surpassing Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $343.1 million.

For the year, the company reported that its loss widened to $307.8 million, or $6.81 per share. Revenue was reported as $1.56 billion.

Beyond shares have fallen roughly 2% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $27.18, a rise of 24% in the last 12 months.
