(Alliance News) - BFC Media Spa reported Tuesday that it closed 2022 with a loss of EUR1.1 million compared to a profit of EUR258,915 in the previous year.

Ebitda was a negative EUR344,187 compared to a positive EUR2.2 million in 2021 while contribution margin remained almost stable at EUR3.2 million from EUR3.3 million.

Operating loss of EUR2.8 million compares with Ebit of EUR395,532 in the previous year while pre-tax loss is EUR1.8 million from pre-tax profit of EUR321,321 in 2021.

Revenues rose to EUR20.4 million from EUR16.0 million in 2021 while value added stands at EUR19.3 million from EUR15.1 million.

Consolidated shareholders' equity is EUR2.7 million and consolidated net financial debt is EUR3.3 million due to the bank loan taken out by L'Espresso Media and the loan from partner IDI, which was necessary for the startup of operations on L'Espresso.

BFC Media's stock is unchanged at EUR4.14 per share.
