Bic Camera Inc. reported consolidated and non-consolidated earnings results for the year ended August 31, 2021. For the year, on consolidated basis, the company reported net sales of JPY 834,060 million against JPY 847,905 million a year ago. Operating income was JPY 18,217 million against JPY 12,066 million a year ago. Profit attributable to owners of parent was JPY 8,761 million against JPY 5,450 million a year ago. Net income per share was JPY 49.80 against JPY 30.98 a year ago. Diluted net income per share was JPY 49.75 against JPY 30.96 a year ago.
For the year, on non-consolidated basis, the company reported net sales of JPY 440,298 million against JPY 460,501 million a year ago. Operating income was JPY 503 million against loss of JPY 2,987 million a year ago. Profit was JPY 1,358 million against loss of JPY 424 million a year ago. Net income per share was JPY 7.72 against net loss per share of JPY 2.41 a year ago.
