At the option of the Company, each restricted stock unit represents the right to receive, at settlement, one share of common stock, or its cash equivalent.
(2)
The restricted stock unit award vests as follows: (i) one-half of the restricted stock units shall vest on the twelve-month anniversary of date of grant, and (ii) one-half of the restricted stock units shall vest on the twenty-fourth month anniversary of the date of grant, subject to the Reporting Person's continued service with the Company.

The restricted stock unit award vests on August 14, 2022, subject to the Reporting Person's continued service with the Company.

BIOLASE, Inc. is a medical device company that develops, manufactures, markets and sells laser systems in dentistry and medicine. Epic X, and Epic 10 systems feature its 940 nanometer wavelength with patented pulse technology called ComfortPulse.
