Omnes Croissance 4, a fund managed by Omnes Capital S.A.S. and Bip Fund (Sca), Sicar, a find managed by BIP Investment Partners S.A. acquired a joint majority stake in Captain Tortue France SAS from Evoco Ltd and L Catterton Europe on December 13, 2018. Philippe Jacquelinet and Lilian Jacquelinetb, founders of Captain Tortue, reinvested a significant share alongside Omnes and BIP. Philippe Jacquelinet and Lilian Jacquelinetb will remain involved in the company where Philippe Jacquelinet remains Chairman of Captain Tortue France. Rothschild & Co acted as financial advisor to L Catterton in the transaction. Clyve Monfredo, Maryline Pic-Dehongher, Jessica Bianchi, Lionel Weller, Stéphanie Perrod-de Verdelhan, Jean-Philippe Passanante and Benoît Philippe of AXTEN acted as legal advisors to Captain Tortue France. Mayer Brown acted as legal advisor to the sellers. Hogan Lovells acted as legal advisors to the buyers.
