Impairment of property and equipment was USD 11.7 million for the third quarter of 2022, representing an significant increase of USD 10.9 million from USD 0.8 million for the second quarter of 2022, which was mainly due to a provision for impairment of mining machines in Kazakhstan and the U.S. Impairment of property and equipment for the third quarter of 2021 was USD 9.8 million, mainly due to the closure and demolition of big data centers in Sichuan, China.
