BKW issues a CHF 200 million bond

On 11 September 2018, BKW AG successfully issued a fixed-interest senior bond on the Swiss capital market. The CHF 200 million bond, with a coupon of 0.75% per annum, has a maturity of seven years. The high level of investor interest underscores the trust placed in BKW.

With this move, BKW AG is taking advantage of the favourable capital market conditions in order to ensure long-term financing under attractive terms. The settlement of the bond will take place on 15 October 2018. The net revenue of the transaction serves to enable the repayment of the 1.875% bond worth CHF 150 million that will expire on the same day, as well as serving general company objectives. The issuance has been managed by UBS AG. The bond will be listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange.
